Toaru Majutsu no Index’s Kamachi Writes New Story for Film
When a user asked on Twitter on Sunday if the recently announced Toaru Majutsu no Index film’s story would be taken from volume 15 of the light novel series, ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko light novel editor Kazuma Miki replied that author Kazuma Kamachi will be writing an entirely new story for it. The film was announced last October, but no release date has officially been set.
The fourth volume of Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index, Kazuma Kamachi’s sequel to the original Toaru Majutsu no Index light novel series, will ship on March 10. When discussing the anime adaptations of Dengeki Bunko works, Miki had revealed in January that “Index will have more happening this year. Please look forward to it. We still cannot say anything about Railgun [Toaru Kagaku no Railgun/A Certain Scientific Railgun].”
The first Toaru Majutsu no Index light novel series inspired two television anime series, as well as A Certain Scientific Railgun manga that inspired its own anime franchise. Funimation licensed the first Index series and the Railgun anime, while Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the Railgun manga.

Yesterday SuckerPunch revealed more details regarding InFamous 2. Infomous 2 will have an unlimited amount of missions, thanks to its mission creator feature! Kind of like LittleBigPlanet 2, users will now be able to create their very own customized missions. Development director Chris Zimmerman spoke his thoughts on why the feature was necessary.
“What we saw as the biggest problem with InFamous was that, at some point, it ended.”Now with this exiting new feature, the game will never end*. Now players will have a chance to control and manage:
“All of the good guys, all of the bad guys, all of the props that we built for the game — vehicles, weapons and other stuff — and then a whole bunch of special stuff we built just for making user-generated content,” he said. “ We figured we’d throw that all out there and let people create, because we think there are lots of people out there that dream of being a game designer, and this is our opportunity to give them the opportunity to share what they can do. To take all of this content we’ve built over the past two years and putting it together to make something we never thought possible.”During the announcement SuckerPunch threw together a quick two minute mission. The powerful editor will allow you to create what you wish, as long as its technically possible. The length of the missions can be short, or long. This factor depends on your own personal choosing. You will have control over all the elements that are in the game, like enemies, weapons, checkpoints, and much more. A beta will take place in April, but you will have to wait until March 15th for the full details on how to gain access. The best user generated content will be available on the retail game on June 7th. For more details check out the trailer below! Bottom Line: inFAMOUS 2 will have an unlimited amount of missions, thanks to its mission creator feature!
